Rio de Janeiro also known as “Cidade Maravilhosa” (Marvelous City) a tropical paradise located between beaches and mountains, surrounded by both colonial neighborhoods and modern buildings, a place where sounds meets the ocean and create a unique melting pot of colors and beauties. This land has once been the home of the Portuguese crown, nowadays is the home of magnificent festivals such as the carnival parade and the Reveillon (New Year’s eve), but the events, sounds and the dances are not the only reasons that visitors fall for Rio, as this city is in the heart of an exuberant tropical beaches in the heart of the rain forest, a location which makes it a perfect place to visit and enjoy. Our tour will begin with an early pick-up at a selected hotel in Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana and Barra da Tijuca, our first attraction will be the Christ Redeemer statue, a soapstone statue of Jesus Christ which sits in the peak of the Corcovado mountain at 700-metre (2,300 ft) and overlooks the city 360º, a place where man and nature have combined powers to create one of the new world wonders. As we enter the Tijuca forest we will stop at the Paineiras Park to board vehicles which will take us to the top of the monument in approximately 45 minutes, on our way up we’ll have the opportunity to enjoy views of the Copacabana beach, Botafogo bay and Palacio da Guanabara. After our visit we will head to our the Sugar Loaf, a granite rock which is accessible by a cable-car located in the Praia Vermelha (Red Beach) in the Urca district, on our way we will pass by neo-classical buildings like the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, the Institute Benjamin Constant for the blind and the National Institute for Mineral Resources. As we arrive in the Sugar Loaf complex we will board the cable-car to reach first the 220 meters of the Urca hill and then 396 meters of the Sugar Loaf, here we have a great view of the Guanabara Bay, it also has a gallery with the history of the cable car, our visit here will last approximately 30 minutes. We will then enjoy our lunch at Ipanema's restaurant. There will have different meal options at your disposal. Choose anything from Brazilian steakhouse fare or a light sandwich. You can also use the time to explore Ipanema neighborhood. After our lunch we will continue our tour visiting the outside of the Maracana Stadium, the world famous theater of two world cup finals and the Rio 2016 Olympic ceremonies, there we will be able to take a picture next to the Bellini Statue, as we continue we will then visit the “Sambadrome” (Samba Arena) where the main carnival parade takes place. We will then continue our tour by visiting the most traditional part of the city a neighborhood named “Lapa” and home to the famous “Lapa Arches” and the Metropolitan Cathedral a famous modern art landmark of the city. As we continue we will visit the “Escadaria Selaron”, a fascinating staircase portrait in different movies and videos around the world. As we proceed to the São Bento monastery we will pass by the Museum of Tomorrow, a neofuturistic building in the Port of Rio, once we arrive in the monastery we will see a surprising contrast between the austere, purposefully simple appearance of the exterior and the richness of the interior highlighting gilded Baroque engravings with plants motifs. On your way back to your hotel, looking outward you'll see the Museum of Modern Art, the Monument to the Fallen in World War II, and the Church of the Outeiro da Glória. You will also be able to see the Flamengo bay, as here we conclude our tour and head to your hotel.

The Christ the Redeemer is an Art Deco statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, created by French sculptor Paul Landowskiand built by the Brazilian engineer Heitor da Silva Costa, in collaboration with the French engineer Albert Caquot. Romanian sculptor Gheorghe Leonida fashioned the face. The statue is 30 metres (98 ft) tall, excluding its 8-metre (26 ft) pedestal, and its arms stretch 28 metres (92 ft) wide.
